Kevin R. Dombrowski* Trombone -
Kevin R. Dombrowski is the Adjunct Professor of Music in Trombone at Valparaiso University, Trombone Instructor at the Merit School of Music, and maintains a studio of private trombone, euphonium, and tuba students. He currently plays second trombone with the Illinois Symphony Orchestra and the Fort Wayne Philharmonic, and he has held positions with the Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra (Bosnia and Hercegovina) and SONG Symphony Orchestra (Korea). Mr. Dombrowski spends parts of his summers as an artist in residence at the Lake George Music Festival in Lake George, New York, where he plays with the LGMF orchestra and performs chamber music. As a soloist and chamber musician, Mr. Dombrowski has won several competitions and soloed with multiple orchestras throughout the United States and abroad including Aarhus, Denmark, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Hercegovina, and Seoul, Korea. He holds degrees from the Eastman School of Music and the Yale School of Music. His principal teachers include Scott Hartman, Dr. John Marcellus, Lisa Albrecht, and Timothy Riordan. Aside from music, Kevin loves to play golf and hockey in his spare time.
