The Illinois Symphony Orchestra is pleased to announce auditions to fill the position of Principal Bass. The audition will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2025.

All positions will begin in the 2025-2026 concert season. The Illinois Symphony Orchestra is a per service regional orchestra. These are per-service positions and the 2024-2025 season rates are $110.40 for Principal, $101.20 for Associate Principal and $92.00 for Section. Additional compensation includes travel reimbursement and housing accommodations. All persons hired will be required to verify identity and U.S. work eligibility and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
Members of the Illinois Symphony Orchestra are members of Local 301 of the American Federation of Musicians.
